About the Gallery
Miche McClendon Gallery and Studio offers one of kind jewelry, art, and unique gifts. Every piece of jewelry is meticulously handcrafted on site using ancient techniques with hammer and fire to produce her distinctive signature style. Miche’s original paintings and ink drawings are also featured. You’ll find crystals, candles and incense, plus art from other local artists. Miche received a BFA in metalsmithing from Old Dominion University and was voted Best Jewelry Designer in Laguna Beach Favorite’s in 2025 and many times over the years. Her studio, in the back of the gallery, allows visitors to watch her at work.
“My inspiration comes from the sea, forces of nature and the long chain of past artists’ conversing over these themes. My passion is creating tiny sculpture from silver, gold, and unusual gems. I use ancient techniques while keeping an eye on modern fashion to create designs that are new and timeless. I love the idea of art that is comfortable enough to be displayed on the body and worn everywhere. It can make the wearer become part of the finished piece. Jewelry should speak to the wearer’s spiritual beauty and compliment their natural beauty.”
